Our Emergency Department is open 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. It is staffed by highly trained physicians, nurses, therapists, and technologists, so you'll always get the care you need when you need it most. ICU Hart County Hospital has a 4-bed ICU. Same Day Surgery The hospital's outpatient surgical services include one endoscopy suite and 2 Operating room suites. With minimally invasive procedures, you'll be able to recover in the comfort of your own home. Naturally, some of the more invasive surgeries require an inpatient stay at the hospital. Orthopaedics We treat athletes, trauma patients, or patients suffering from chronic orthopaedic problems with knee replacements, hip replacements, fracture repairs, etc. Our Orthopaedic Surgeons restore function, so you can get back to doing the things you enjoy. Swing Bed Services Our Swing Bed Program offers a much-needed service for patients who no longer require acute care services, but need skilled services to complete their recovery. The purpose is to assist individuals in improving their physical, emotional and social functioning through nursing and rehabilitative therapies. The goal of the Swing Bed Program is to assist the patient to achieve an optimum level of function and self-care through specialized therapies, education and retention of daily living activities. Physical Therapy Services Our Physical Therapy Services addresses both inpatients and outpatients. Our inpatient physical therapists work in conjunction with staff physicians, nursing teams, and occupational therapists to provide for safe and appropriate discharge from the hospital. Our outpatient physical therapists work in conjunction with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide effective treatment for a variety of impairments.
