Letter from Hart County Hospital Administrator, Jerry Wise Welcome to Hart County Hospital's website. We're glad you chose our site. It is an honor to have you with us. Let me take this time to introduce who we are. Hart County Hospital strives to meet the needs of the local community. In doing so, care is continually being adjusted and improved. As we grow with the community, our services will grow to meet your needs. A 82-bed,full-service hospital that serves Hart, Franklin, and Elbert counties and the surrounding areas. Fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the hospital has over 83 doctors, 200 support staff members, and an assortment of programs designed to meet your needs. Our mission is to continuously improve the quality of primary, long-term and home care within our resource capabilities and to promote healthier lifestyles through education consistent with individual and community needs. Our goals are to become your hospital of choice for Hart County and the surrounding areas, your employer of choice for the community, and a good community citizen. In meeting these goals we are constantly working with our employees, physicians, and volunteers to make Hart County Hospital your hospital. We are working with various programs designed to enhance our service to you…our patients, their families, local physicians, the community, fellow employees, and vendors. Hart County is a fantastic community with a rich heritage and proud tradition. As the hospital for this area, we want to be there for the community. When the need arises for additional physicians and services, we plan on adding at a level that will compliment the community nicely. As the second hospital within the Ty Cobb Healthcare System, we are a proud part of a 53-year old organization founded in Royston, Georgia by baseball's immortal Ty Cobb. Our corporate offices are located in Royston, Georgia and our various sister facilities are; Cobb Memorial Hospital, Brown Memorial Convalescent Center, Hartwell Health Care Center, Cobb Health Care Center, and The Gables.
